The positive start to the year for the Castra Crows has continued this weekend, with a great win to the 2nd's and a reality check for the A grade boys.
In the A's runs were hard to come by for the Castra boys who despite some excellent defence from Craig Kuhns and a solid 25 from Bakesy, struggled to 80 off almost the full 45 overs. Gawler then knocked of the total 3 down. More runs are certainly needed for the crows to be contenders this season.
In the B's the Crows put in a fantastic team effort led by Maxwell with (4-22) and Brinkman with
(31 & 2-14), with Lips How also chipping in with 2 wickets. Fluff continues with his undefeated start to the season.
With a few players to return in the coming weeks, the crows will only get stronger as the year progresses.
